1 I to the hills will lift my eyes;
From whence shall come our aid?
Our help is from the Lord alone,
Who heaven and earth has made.
2 He will not let thy foot be moved,
Your guardian never sleeps;
With watchful and unslumbering care
His own he safely keeps.
3 Your faithful keeper is the Lord,
Your Shelter and your Shade;
'Neath sun or moon, by day or night,
You shall not be afraid.
4 From evil he will keep you safe,
For you he will provide;
Your going out, your coming in,
Forever he will guide.
Amen.
