The Hymnal 1940 apparently deleted?

I have been a user of this site for a long time, and one of my go-to hymnals is "The Hymnal 1940".  At one time, all of the pages were available as images, then certain images were deleted (I assume due to copyright concerns).  Now, when I go to the page for that hymnal, there is a description of it, but only two items appear at all; nothing else appears.  

Was there an executive decision to remove older hymnals, or something else going on with this particular hymnal? I notice that The Hymnal 1982 is still here, but I do not like it as much as the 1940 and it does not contain many of the 1940's hymns and service music.

The full Hymnal 1940 (without supplements) may be found here: https://hymnary.org/hymnal/HPEC1940. A volunteer started to add the version with the supplements but did not follow the proper procedure for adding the hymnal title. They used the title on the cover instead of on the title page.
